When Angela contacted me for a family photo session; I unfortuately didn’t have any availability before their PCS. But, lo & behold, her orders were changed at the last minute, and though that put a kink in their moving plans…it meant we were now able to get together!! I’m so glad it worked out because I had a great time with the Pinkertons. What a wonderful family! The younger kids kept me on my toes, and we were able to produce some great memories to carry with them long after they leave Okinawa.

Love this candid shot walking on the beach. Look at the mischief in her eyes! We met very early in the morning at sunrise; I just LOVE the lighting at this time of day. Thanks, guys for coming out so early!!!

Two year olds are always the most challenging to photograph. They have their own agenda, and have too much to explore. But, looky here! He’s actually (gasp) looking at the camera and (gasp!) smiling!! It happens in a split second, and I stay poised and ready for that million dollar smile!

Little Miss M was just so happy the whole time we were together. She had a lot of exploring to do as well.

I don’t know why, but I love this last shot. My husband proofs my posts before publishing, and I’m thinking he would have left this one off. But, he’s not here, so I’m posting it! We were walking along this pathway, and a bird startled her. I like the quirkiness of this photo, the colors, sunlight, leading lines, and her pause as the bird passes. What do you think?
