While I absolutely love every photo opportunity I am a part of, there are a handful that hold greater anticipation for one reason or another, and this was one of them. Mallory and Adam were such a cute bride and groom, and with a location next to perfection it is no wonder we were all in our happy place.
My first two years of photographing people was at a beach location so I felt very comfortable working with the variable lighting and weather conditions encountered at the St. George Plantation. My husband once asked me when I feel most alive. After some thought I had two answers: 1) the moments I am photographing someone, and 2) when I am at the beach. The best part about photographing this gorgeous wedding? Working in bare-feet. =)
Mallory getting ready in her father’s beach house. Love the morning light coming in.
They composed their own vows moments before the ceremony.
This is just to die for. Her hair! Mallory fixed it herself. ♥
Adam looking dapper as ever. Mallory actually took the photo on the left; I got a shot of her doing that below. =)
Mallory. You. Are. Gorgeousssssss!
It’s getting married time!
Really awesome bridal party. We had a lot of fun in the sand!
Mallory is a San Diego based photographer. She had been shopping for a new camera lens and tested one of mine out on her new husband.
This is what I call the photogasm time of the day. The last 15 minutes of daylight. My favorite moment to photograph. Gahhhh, I love it!
